I got you! @grok remove the strongest hero from this picture
Me at dollar tree
Michael Jackson spent about $500,000 on 2 vases in 1 shop visit, and the manager wouldn't say how many millions he'd spent in total.
The scene shows spending turning into a habit instead of a purchase. He walks the store marking what he already owns, asks the clerk to write down what he wants next, and says he already has the space. At that point he isn't choosing, he's following a list. Buying becomes a routine that feels like progress, and the stuff piles up faster than anyone can use it.
The reporter's remark that a dealer could retire on 1 client is the business insight here. A single buyer with no price sensitivity can carry a whole shop, which is why the manager was glad to bargain, flatter, and keep quiet about totals. When one customer is that valuable, the seller's job is to keep him comfortable.
Look at the taste, too. He compares his house to an emperor's, and the shop owner says he bought about 80% of the stock. Surrounding yourself with the look of old power is an attempt to buy a feeling of permanence, and it is a feeling that more purchases can't finish.
That's the cost. Spending that never reaches "enough" turns into a hole, and the only winner is the person ringing it up.
The more you buy to feel finished, the less finished you feel.

Want a fun stat amid all this Suns PG convo?
Collin Gillespie leads the NBA with a +28.3 team AST% differential when he’s on the court vs. off
That doesn’t mean he’s responsible for every assist. It means PHX moves the ball more effectively when he’s out there.
Interesting…
How super hero’s “save the city” from a villain…. By decimating everything.

Suns and Cardinals have similar in-house options, neither franchise are willing to explore.
Cardinals: Beck, Bam, Billings.
Suns: bring Green, Brooks and or Bridges off the bench.
Worst case? More of the same.
Best case? Modicum of improvement. Something to build upon

Silent count… AT HOME is crazy.
I’ve played in road environments and still been able to use a cadence. These guys deserve better man lol
Is there any way to know if the cardinals even made an offer?
Trade! The Colts are sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
Rest well, young man. So sad
Maluach is raw²!
He’s slow to switch on defense, easily gets caught or lost.
He has terrible hands and timing.
All can improve with time on task but he’s not there, now
Unpopular opinion:
The best item on the @McDonalds menu (fries not included) is the Filley-O-Fish sandwich.
Potential rebar and names:
The McFillet.
The McFish.
The McMermaid.
The McSurf
The McFish N’ Chips

I CALLED TO CANCEL MY FAMILY’S HEALTH INSURANCE BECAUSE I COULDN’T AFFORD IT ANYMORE.
The rep asked why.
I told her I was paying $640 a month for a family plan with a $8,500 deductible.
That’s $7,680 a year just to keep the policy active. And if someone gets seriously sick, I could still owe thousands before insurance starts covering more of the bill.
She explained that the plan helps pay for eligible care after I meet my deductible.
I told her I understood the policy. What I don’t understand is how a family can spend nearly $8,000 a year on insurance and STILL be afraid to go to the hospital.
She had nothing to say.
WE’RE PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO PROTECT OURSELVES FROM MEDICAL BILLS THAT COULD STILL FINANCIALLY DESTROY US. WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT?
