Dated Brent = harga spot minyak brent
ICP (Indonesia Crude Price) kalkulasinya bukan pake Brent futures ataupun WTI. Apa yang kalian sering lihat di chart itu Brent/WTI futures, yang mana harganya bisa lebih rendah up to 25%.
Kenapa gak pake Brent futures? Karena Brent futures itu cash-settled, sementara Dated Brent itu settlementnya physical delivery, yang mana pemerentah harus pilih yang physical delivery agar bisa diolah lagi jadi bensin, diesel, atau produk lain.
Anyway, minyak mentah utama Indonesia itu formula perhitungannya pakai Dated Brent sebagai anchor. Sebenarnya ada beberapa benchmark harga utama utk mengimpor minyak mentah:
(1) Brent (Eropa dan Afrika)
(2) Dubai/Oman (Timur Tengah)
(3) WTI (AS)
Mayoritas perdagangan minyak fisik itu diitungnya dengan Brent sebagai basis. Bisa dibilang Brent itu adalah anchor dari semuanya.
Indonesia sementara ini mayoritas impornya itu masih dari Timur Tengah dan Afrika.
Awal bulan ini, harganya udah mau sentuh $140/bbl. Terakhir kali Dated Brent setinggi ini adalah Juli 2008.

Gold ETF holdings are at levels you'd expect to see with gold hitting all-time highs... Yet gold itself is trading at just $4,100.
Meanwhile:
- China's gold imports are reaching record highs
- Global central banks remain major buyers
- Some Asian gold producers want to keep their gold rather than sell it
In other words, everyone is buying gold, some producers are holding on to their gold, and yet the price is falling as if the exact opposite were happening...
