Kevin Olenick

I may be alone on an island. But I still believe in Shane Wright. This guy was expected to go number 1 in 22. He didn’t. Change of scenery will help. Don’t count him out.

This is a really good explanation on how the non time time change affects the Canucks and travel.

Serious question. Is Scott Arneil in trouble?

I’m confused how Vernon Adams Jr isn’t either. Highest scoring team in the CFL 36TDs 6 INTS. That’s the miss. By the way Glen, no shot at you. But V.A. should have gotten more consideration than he did.

I'm having trouble adjusting to this non time change time change.

Good first period. But second period is the difference, as #Canucks lose 4-2 to the #Leafs. Also, a couple of other "treats" My latest for @HockeyHStove

NFL Week 8 picks. Buf over Bal Cin over Ten. Dal over Ari. Jax over Ind. NYJ over LV Pit over Cle. Atl over TB LAC over LAR KC over Den NE over Mia Was over Phi. Sea over Chi.

GHOSTS. GOBLINS, WITCHES.VAMPIRES. Here is your #Canucks Maple Leafs Spooktackular for @HockeyHStove First, the Canucks. Filip Chytil has been placed on IR. Jacob Quinlan, who they got in the Aatu Raty has been called up.. By the way, I don't think Ryan Johnson got enough credit for getting two players for a player they put on waivers. It's not the best trade Ryan Johnson will make. But it's a good sign of the type of trades he can make. The Canucks have lost 4 in a row at home. It would be a "treat" if they were able to win. True, they would need to pull off some "tricks" to get it. Leafs (7-6-2) They have lost 2 in a row. They came back from 2 goals down to Seattle in the third period to tie the Kraken at 4-4. However, Brandon Montour scored with 33 seconds to go giving the Kraken the win. There will be some familiar “spirits” returning to Rogers Arena. Teddy Blueger has been playing. But Dakoda Joshua makes his debut this year. And old soul Chris Tanev has been activated and will play. Auston Matthews leads the team in points (10-13-23). Jack Roslovic has been a pleasant surprise 15 points on 15 games. (6-9-15). And Vancouver’s Morgan Reilly has been steady as well. Finally, let’s not forget Gavin McKenna. Canuck fans were angry monsters when they did not get the first pick of the 26 NHL Draft. McKenna has five goals, six assists, 11 points. 3 power play goals. Averages 13:46 a night. Fantastic talent. Needs to get stronger and little bit better defensively.

Poll Question for @HockeyHStove If you are the Tampa Bay Lightning, what do you with Nikita Kucherov?

By the way, Happy Halloween. I hope your day is Spooktacular!

If you need a #CFL pregame, how about 3rd and Goal? Listen below.

During the second period of the Flames game tonight, Zayne Parekh got paired with Kevin Bahl. Did we just see Parekh officially become the Flames' number 1 defenceman? #Flames

Things that are rolling through my head with Kucherov. This could be the second or third biggest trade in NHL history. Gretzky and Roy being the biggest. I know the Insiders are saying that negotiations are far apart. But I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that they work something out. The Lightning are in an interesting position though. They do need to get younger. This might be an amazing way to do it. The challenge is I can’t see Kucherov being someone who’s going to be flexible on where he goes. I could see him being more stubborn than Hellebuyck and Larkin. Players certainly feel they are dictating things hey?
