The safety protocols in place in Northside ISD will remain in place for the remainder of the school year. This includes the requirement of face masks for students, staff & visitors.

Governor Abbott announced this afternoon that he is lifting the state-wide mask mandate. While Northside ISD awaits additional guidance from TEA, all current safety protocols will remain in place, including the use of facemasks.

Public schools are a public good, not a commodity where only a select group are served and where out of state entities profit. Public schools should be paid for by all, accountable to all and serve all - too many charter schools don't serve a community's best interest. @TXSBOE
