Not a single thing has been done about this. My son’s suitcase is just sitting in some warehouse and no one at @AmericanAir cares.
@AmericanAir I’m hoping someone with authority can actually take ownership of this.
More than a month ago, AA lost two bags, my adult daughter’s and my teenage son’s. After weeks of my wife calling almost every day, my daughter’s bag was finally found. My son’s is still missing.
He leaves for college soon, and that bag had about a third of his clothes in it. That may not sound like a crisis to an airline, but for a kid getting ready to move away from home, it’s a pretty big loss.
The frustrating part isn’t just that the bag is gone. It’s that we keep filling out forms, making calls, explaining the same thing, and then nothing really happens. No clear owner. No real update. No path forward.
I’m not trying to blast anyone or make life harder for a customer service rep. I’m just asking for someone at American Airlines who can make a decision to please step in, DM me, and help us either find the bag or fairly resolve the loss.
This has gone on long enough. Thank you.
