Proud to be a female Chief Pharmacist from a BAME (South Asian) background. I know I’m in a minority, it’s evident at every pharmacy meeting I attend, often being the only BAME woman with a seat at the table. This has to change.
The NHS has finally published its Pharmacy Workforce Race Equality Standard report. Chair of RPS in England @tase3121 said: "I hope it will create a sea change for colleagues working in NHS as the trauma of racial abuse is finally recognised." More: bit.ly/469RO63

Brilliant Advice @UHLRRCV
We are always going to face different challenges, but over time we do become accustomed and comfortable with what seems difficult in the beginning. Keep pushing forward and learn to build resilience. It’s a superpower that helps you through the difficult times #resilience 💪🏼

Balancing the paradox/tension between confidence & humility is an issue for every leader &/or "improvement expert". It's about having faith in our capability while understanding we don’t know everything. Humility leads to doubt, which makes us curious & eager to discover things & keep growing. Confident humility is a leadership superpower: betterprogramming.pub/confid… By @techtello

I've just been writing about the critical role of tacit knowledge in change & improvement. As much as 80% of the knowledge in an organisation is tacit & undocumented. Yet this tacit knowledge is most likely to lead to big breakthroughs for innovation and improvement. That's why networks, communities of learning/practice & sharing conversations are often more effective than good practice repositories/portals, metadata or search systems: nickmilton.com/2021/11/why-y…… Recommended reading from @nickknoco
