I was reminded this week what it is/was like to be a female athlete for 🇨🇦. In my day, we had little funding support. Today it is better, but 🇨🇦 women athletes need support to continue their success @150women @CANFUND is a call to action for this cause: canadianathletesnow.ca/

She nearly had her Olympic dream taken away from her because she was pregnant/postpartum during qualification period. So boxer Mandy Bujold took on the IOC. Went to arbitration. And won her fight. Now she'll fight for Canada at the Olympics.
