You are missing out on HUGE benefits if you are not working out!
If you are an editor and you're not working out, here are 5 main benefits of working out as a video editor:
1. Reduced Body Pain & Injury Prevention🎯
- Long hours of editing = bad posture → back, neck, wrist pain.
- Exercise strengthens core, back, and shoulders, reducing pain from sitting.
2. Hugely Improved Focus🧠
- Regular physical activity boosts cognitive function, memory, and focus → better attention during detailed editing work.
- Working out helps reduce brain fog after long hours of screen time.
3. Boosted Creativity 🎨
- Physical activity has been shown to spark creative thinking.
- Breaks for exercise can lead to creative breakthroughs.
4. Increased Energy ⚡
- Sedentary work can make you feel sluggish.
- Regular workouts boost your overall energy, helping you sustain long editing sessions without fatigue.
5. Improved Sleep Quality💤
- Consistent workouts improve sleep, helping your brain recover and reset.
- Better sleep = better focus
Even short 15-30 minutes workouts can deliver massive benefits without eating a huge chunk of your time.
You can be more productive only if you do these things.🕐
Every video editor wants to be more productive. Well with these few simple steps you can.
1. Start working out🏋️♂️
I see a lot of people leaving productivity on the table just because they are not working out, they think that this is not going to help them be more productive.
Well, they are wrong, working out helped me immensely even without realizing it.
You don't have to be lifting weights for 2 hours a day if you don't like it. You can just go out for a simple walk, or you could go and play basketball for a bit. Whatever you like doing, just go out on the fresh air away from the screen.
2. Proper sleep💤
Proper sleep is probably the most important thing on this list.
When you rest properly your brain will function better, you will be more energized and you will be more motivated to do the work needed to achieve your goals.
Sleep at least 7-9 hours every night and find what time works for you the best.
Personally I usually go to bed around 9-10pm and wake up around 6am.
Ever since I have good sleep schedule, my productivity skyrocketed.
3. Good diet🧑🍳
You most likely eat like sh*t, and that's why you are feeling sleepy or out of energy.
Eating fast processed food will take your body more time and energy to digest, which will result in you feeling sleepy and not being able to work properly.
That's why it is so important to eat real food instead of that processed garbage.
These three things alone will allow you to be much more productive.

You ran out of creative ideas?
Here's 3 things that help me get more inspiration:
1. Look at my favourite creators/editors
While looking, I would screenshot the scenes I like and paste it into FigJam and try to think of what style I'd want to go for.
2. Paste those same screenshots into ChatGPT and ask it to give you 10 different searches for pinterest
Then go onto pinterest and just search those terms and try to find something you like.
3. Go to artvee .com/ and take a look at paintings, that could help you spike up your inspiration
These are the steps that helped me make this animation:
A lot of video editors are actually just procrastinating instead of doing real work.
Yes, I am not joking, a lot of editors spend way too much time on X instead of working.
They think they are doing work and being productive, but no, they just sit on X for hours a day replying to posts, checking their replies and just spamming animations without any context with some random caption saying something like 'Rate this animation'.
Bro, to be honest that wont catch the attention you need.
Start giving real value, start being productive, do something productive.
Outreach, give valuable information in your posts, learn something new that will allow you to level up.
That way you're just wasting time thinking you are being productive.
START DOING ACTUAL WORK!
You will make it brother I believe in you.
