Simply incredible scenes at Hound Tor today as 600 gathered to defend our historic right to wild camp.
The passion, energy, creativity and joy of this campaign is astonishing.
On Tuesday we head to the Supreme Court. Join us outside from 11am if you can!

Well, this was a relief to wake up to! Thank you to all on the streets to stop the #FarRightRacists’ #UKRiots2024

Last night the British people showed that we stand in solidarity against racist thugs. We kept peace on the streets. Ever the cowards, the far-right rioters slunk away home. So much for your "civil war", @elonmusk.

The longest sentence handed down to a violent racist rioter this week is shorter than the sentences imposed on entirely peaceful environmental protesters last month.
Labour must repeal the Tory laws that treat peaceful protest more severely than violent disorder and assault.
5 years ago I wrote this poem of tolerance & inclusion for @BBCDevon’s Home Truths project & even read it on @BBCFrontRow How things have changed. Pls get out on the streets to counterprotest against #Racism #Fascism if you can. Pls share @MrMatthewTodd @DrEmilyGrossman @jcmackie
LOVE this!

Just Stop Oil protesters given outrageously long prison sentences. They knew the risks but protested because the situation is desperate. The public however don’t understand that this is coming towards every single one of us. This is really happening no matter that people look away:

5 years in prison for attending a zoom call?
4 years for organising a non-violent protest?
This is such an outrage

4 years in prison. At age 22. For trying to protect our future. I don't know how to process that. Wtf?
The sentences handed to the five @JustStop_Oil campaigners are utterly disproportionate. Four and five years in prison for peaceful protest? This is what you might expect in Russia or Egypt, not in a supposed democracy. theguardian.com/environment/…

We need to massively ramp down emissions urgently, and also adapt to the locked-in changes we’ve already caused
We know what we need to do - we just need to get on and actually DO it
Do you love #blues but can't stand all those heteronormative, misogynistic lyrics? Never fear! The Pink Notes are here - a new #Queer #BluesBand! Me, Sam & Kai are joining forces especially for @queerspirituk Aug.
