A tokenized asset becomes much more interesting when you can actually put it to work. That's one thing I find interesting about what @strato_net is building. STRATO isn't just bringing gold and silver onchain. It's connecting tokenized assets to financial applications where users can borrow, trade and access savings opportunities. Here's a look at the ecosystem's traction from the campaign's DefiLlama snapshot: ➖ $37M in TVL ➖ $4.69M in active loans ➖ $13.2M used in DeFi ➖ $27.66M in tracked metals Active AUM One interesting feature is USDST borrowing. Users can mint USDST against supported collateral, giving them access to liquidity without necessarily having to sell their underlying assets. For example, someone holding supported tokenized precious metals could potentially use that collateral to access liquidity while maintaining exposure to the asset. Of course, borrowing isn't risk-free. Fees apply, and collateral can be liquidated if the protocol's requirements aren't maintained. But this is where STRATO's HardFi vision becomes interesting.
