At Fingal County Council last week. In the middle of a housing crisis, Sinn Féin, Aontu, and Solidarity voted to decrease the amount of housing to be built at Dunsink. The motion was brought by Solidarity.
The First Minister is, of course, wholly correct in her statement here. Thing is she won't use the same language about victims of the republican movement or their families and how they've been treated.
I want to send my love and support to the family of Seán Brown as they are once again shamefully dragged through the courts by a British government determined to defy court rulings and obstruct their right to public inquiry.
For 28 years, Bridie and her daughters have shown extraordinary strength, courage and dignity in their tireless fight for truth and justice for a much-loved husband and father.
I will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Brown family and the Bellaghy community until truth and justice for Seán is secured.

"University researchers built a satellite that tracks people from low Earth orbit and dispatches a 5 kg payload to within .1 meter of their position, traveling at Mach 25 to anywhere on Earth in under 5 minutes. They suggest it could be used to deliver greeting cards."
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks.
By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time.
Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.
There's lots to be critical of in the policies pursued by the current Israeli government but we've got to get a version of Godwin's Law to stop people lazily invoking terms like Apartheid or slavery when they don't fit. Nuance isn't weakness.
Is this another case of an organisation with corporate officers who think their presence is just for show?

This same left-wing president who worked for banks, evicting people from their homes?
President Connolly has it within her power to tactically resign the presidency at an opportune moment to kill the bill. If she resigns, it was the Left who saved the day with a sacrifice that will define the political destiny of this nation for decades.

Again, I very much look forward to many articles in Irish times about "omg how is it possible that Spain voted for a non-lefty government"
Why does the @TFIupdates plan a journey page, not actually allow you to plan a journey?
You can enter a starting point, a destination and modes of transport and then...nothing. There's no execute button and the page does nothing. I keep forgetting it doesn't work each time.
"They only get the hot school meals scheme for 250 children, but rather than treat some differently, they reduce the price of food for everyone."
This is an ideological decision. To make the least well off pay.

Funny how they donated to a charity actually helping people in Gaza and not the domestic terrorist group Rooney wanted to fund, though?

"This election is the most important in generations."
Really? More important than the first one after the GFA or the St. Andrews agreement or the last one to have a non-Unionist FM? Or lots of others? Or ye're talking bollocks?
Tonight, at an event attended by hundreds of Republicans, Sinn Féin selected Paul Maskey, Pat Sheehan, Órlaithí Flynn, and Danny Baker as Sinn Féin’s four West Belfast candidates in the next Assembly election.
This election is the most important in generations.
It is an opportunity to support the strong leadership of Sinn Féin and show that change in the North is unstoppable.
To send a message to those who want to drag us back to the past, that there will be No Going Back.
Every vote will count in West Belfast.
Together, let’s make it 4 Sinn Féin MLAs!

Seriously, how humiliating is this for John O'Dowd our Finance Minister? Its like his idiot cousin has called in on her way to a wedding over in the Stormont Hotel and pushed him to the side.
💥NEW: Mary Lou McDonald - Blame for any strike action in Northern Ireland 'lies at the feet of the British Government'
🎥@sinnfeinireland President @MaryLouMcDonald says the blame for any potential strike action in Northern Ireland lies with the British Government.
🎤She told Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 that the Government's "final offer can't be the final offer."
Her comments come as Secretary of State Sir Chris Bryant meets political party leaders today, with discussions continuing over Stormont's budget crisis.
Executive departments have been operating without an agreed budget since the beginning of the financial year in April and are currently restricted to spending up to 95% of last year's funding.
Ministers in the devolved power-sharing administration insist they cannot agree a budget for 2026/27 without additional financial support from Westminster.
The UK Government has offered an extra £1.5 billion over the next three years in an effort to help balance the books, but Stormont's leaders insist the funding falls short of what is needed.
In response, Sir Chris has criticised what he describes as "irresponsible" overspending by devolved ministers.
More on-air and online.
It's ironic that after a generation or more of people being told that it doesn't matter what the intention was, if someone reading, seeing, hearing or receiving a message thinks it's sexist, racist or whatever then it is.
