My good friend, an American, is married to an Italian citizen. She lives in Italy and visits him here once a year while she works through the process of getting a green card. It's not easy on them at all, but they're doing it the right and legal way.
And, no, they haven't started a GFM to defray the legal costs of having to hire an immigration attorney. They're footing the bill because they do not see themselves as victims.
Please do not call yourself a conservative if you think your friends deserve to be an exception to American law. Just ridiculous.
Please pray for Samuel Sey (@SlowToWrite) and his wife, Annie, and their kids. I feel especially for Annie and the kids. They deserve so much better. They shouldn’t have to wonder when their daddy and husband will be able to come home.
I know I differ with many conservatives on immigration. I am all for cracking down on criminals; particularly violent and sexual predators. Absolutely, kick them out.
But there are a lot of genuinely sweet people who just want a better life for themselves and their kids.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Yes, they should immigrate legally. But even legal immigration in our country is a convoluted, expensive, and lengthy process. Mistakes happen. Corners get cut in desperation.
We need to simplify it.
We need to open the door for hard working, honest, family-folks like Samuel, while keeping out malevolent threats.
This shouldn’t be complicated.
People are making it complicated.

By the way, I highly recommend this recent NXR show on socialism. We’re in a similar position today to what Germany faced a century ago. Not entirely, because they were just coming out of a monarchy, but their new foreign-imposed republican government was a disaster and literally destroying the country. Everyone was clamoring for socialism, and the international socialism of the Marxists is what the patriots of Germany were determined to crush. The alternative of national socialism shrewdly met the demands of the people for economic and moral justice.
Our situation today is similar in that our government is completely ineffective, injustice is rampant, our currency is worthless, minds are being morally polluted, young people can’t afford to get married and own a house, and they can’t afford healthcare either. We need a total reset, and the winning political coalition will take all the concerns above to heart. The international socialists can’t be defeated with “capitalism” and “democracy.” The only way to defeat them is to protect the lives, jobs, and the future of OUR people by promising to defend the common man ruthlessly against the Marxists and usurers who have stolen the country and the wealth, and the traitors they have bought off. The degenerates, especially the race queers and sex queers, can’t hope to stand against such a political juggernaut. Young people will no longer tolerate being told that they can’t have a country because of mustache man.
I commend Joel for being one of the few Christian leaders who is discussing this topic honestly, because mark my words, it will dominate the news in the next decade. Violence will increase until such a political coalition can take power.

The reason you don’t understand, or are shocked by, or were taken in by the behavior of Samuel Sey, who has now self-deported to Ghana after spending years as a know-it-all pastor pretending to be here legally, is that you are not African.
You may not be aware of this, but people are different. And predictable patterns of life exist in this thing called reality.
Unthinkably evil things will happen to your children by following what liars and traitors like Joel Berry insist is the will of God, while following the advice of racists, kinists, bigots, Nazis, homophobes, sexists (and whatever other epithets you can dredge from the fever swamps of the diseased homos) will protect your children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and give them the peace, security, and familiarity of a cohesive people.
