The bum-wine-ification of IPA — a fascinating development in the beer aisle. Personally, I stay away from "the hard stuff." I suspect it's an epidemic among Mandalorian Dads.
The ‘craft beer for alcoholics’ trend is now totally out of control. Basically every tall boy from a ‘craft brewer’ is approaching 10% ABV. Even Bell’s - once a connoisseur’s quaff - is getting in on it. When folks drinks less, I guess you gotta focus harder on your tier-1s

Is there a Duolingo equivalent out there for becoming more resourceful/handy as a homeowner? Whereby upon completion, you become ‘fluent’ in basic carpentry, repairs, home improvements, etc.?

Good Millennials (pre-1990 births) were followed by Bad Millennials (post-1990 births). There were two different generations. And I’m the only person who’s willing to say it.
In the 2000s and the early 2010s the cultural perception of millennials was one of complete ironic detachment. We were all hipster snobs. The new perception of millennials is that we are embarrassing, naïve “quirk chungus” types. Trying to find the spot where the switch happened

“yeah so it’s a 36mm datejust, wimbledon dial, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet. 36 is actually the classic size. 41 is kind of what you buy before you know anything about watches. the 36 wears bigger than you’d think because of the fluted bezel. that’s what people don’t understand. you can’t just look at diameter. lug-to-lug, wrist circumference, dial opening. it’s all about proportions. and the wimbledon dial is way harder to get. i mean, i didn’t buy it as an investment, obviously, but they hold value pretty well. it communicates that i have nothing to prove, which is something i work extremely hard to communicate.”
