Plymouth Brethren Christian Church member denied choice to life saving surgery! This is cruel, and this is where the law needs to step in. No institution, no high-control group, and no cult should ever teach people that they must refuse a life-saving medical treatment. Every person deserves the right to make that decision for themselves. The letter below is currently being distributed within the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. It concerns a 22-year-old man who needs a heart transplant. Twenty-two years old!! His whole life should still be ahead of him. Yet the belief system he was born into tells him he must not accept the treatment that could save his life. This story hits me hard because my husband will celebrate six years with his transplanted heart this August. I know what that gift of life means. It breaks my heart to think that another young man may never get the same chance. Some people who have left the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church would still refuse a heart transplant today because they believe certain things regarding heart transplants.That is their right because they are making their own decision. Nobody should force them to have a transplant if they do not want one. The difference is choice. People outside the church can weigh the facts, listen to their doctors, and decide for themselves. People born into the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church grow up under a rule that tells them the answer before they are old enough to question it. That is what makes cults so dangerous. They do not simply teach beliefs, they can take away a person's freedom to make one of the biggest decisions of their life. He is not the only one. There have been others denied this choice These PBCC members did not grow up with a free and informed choice. They grew up with a rule they were taught from birth AND that has to change! Every adult should have the right to decide whether to accept a life-saving medical treatment without fear of losing their family, their community, or everything they have ever known. This is why we speak out about this cult. People often tell us to move on, stop talking, or let it go. They mistake determination for bitterness. We keep speaking because there are still people inside who cannot speak for themselves. We keep speaking because lives are at stake. We keep speaking because every person deserves the freedom to choose. I urge everyone to be a voice for this young man as if it is your own brother.

Yesterday, RRT pulled yet another crazy and desperate attempt to derail the court case against them, by claiming falsely that Cheryl could edit the contested videos without taking them down or losing the comments and links. Just like RRTs previous idiotic filing claiming that @marcorandazza wasn't licensed in California - this new claim is simply false, fraudulent and untrue. RRT's own DMCA strikes locked the editing tools. Secondly, even if I could edit them, the changes are permanent. Win the case later? Tough. Years of comments and discussion are gone forever. Then comes the obvious question... Why should I butcher perfectly lawful criticism just because RRT demands it, before any court has found I've done anything wrong? Apparently the Eagle of Freedom can smell desperation from several thousand feet. It appears to have locked onto two lawyers in full retreat.
