June is also an incredibly impressive human in her own right: in addition to being the co-creator of TED Talks, she's also the former Exec Producer of TED Conferences, WIRED, and Masters of Scale (among others). She's earned 100+ industry awards for her work, including 67 Webby honors, 8 Apple “Podcast of the Year” Awards, a National Design Award and a Peabody (oh snap). So she's got some wisdom of her own to share !
1) June's book is a *fascinating* look at both the ancient 'wisdom systems' & latest scientific data behind a number of things I already love/enjoy/believe in: saunas and heat therapy, festivals and collective gathering (like Burning Man!), epic physical challenges and rituals for transition - giving context for where these traditions came from and what they might teach us about navigating our current age
