Recommendation to my apartment- and condo-dwelling friends: avoid buildings that are using the Fetch package delivery service, if at all possible. It’s bad. It’s really, really bad.

Just heard a too loud car set off someone’s car alarm downtown. Walking around today, definitely seems like during the pandemic, a lot of dudes treated themselves to expensive mobile noisemakers. I saw a Maserati that was painfully loud for *blocks* away. WTF.
I think expressing mildly unsympathetic sentiments towards landlords resulted in someone reporting me as contemplating self-harm on reddit? The Seattle virtual world is wild.

SPD has not experienced any funding cuts that have impacted the number of patrols. There are as many officers on patrol today as there were before the meager budget reduction. If policing prevented crime, this wouldn’t have happened.

Ran into someone on the east side of Capitol Hill today who thought he was close to Keys on Main. Our geography is seriously confusing. And our roads being broken up by I-5 and Aurora makes that worse.
Is KC metro still limiting the number of people that can be on board a bus? I hadn’t experienced it until my ride home today, and I swear I’ve been on buses that were more crowded very recently.
