I'll push OPPD to be transparent about data center oversight and make sure they pay their fair share.
This led to my realization that a blog post I published about my personal experience with the death penalty was now 15 years old. Even when I wrote it, it was a reflection on the past—describing events that took place 10 years earlier—but I think it remains incredibly relevant.
I hope you'll take a moment to check out the whole post about the execution of Ronnie Frye here:

We’re back to school, with the first week behind us. And that return to campus always leaves me a little breathless, not just because of the shifting of focus to the students, the meetings, and the event planning; it’s also just so *nice* to be back.

It’s been a great few months for people who love movies and who also teach and write about heroic behavior. With multiple summer blockbusters devoted entirely to the superhero—either classical or contemporary—I'm thinking about how these portrayals line up with the research I do.
So, with that in mind, what should we learn from the way that heroes are portrayed in “Supergirl,” “The Odyssey,” and “Spider Man: Brand New Day,” this summer’s trilogy of superhero movies?

Needless to say, I have a lot of thoughts. And I'm also very curious to know what you think. So, read all about my hottest of hot takes on the ancientist of ancient stories and then let's chop it up!
