Multiplication chart competition has started!! These fifth graders are working hard to know how to make multiplication charts to help them with their math. Can you spot any strategies that the students are using?? #math #multiplication #masters #strategy
Sound can be noisy!! These fifth graders were able to explore the world of sound. Through these explorations, they learned that we are able to hear sounds because of the vibrations that they make! @EllisSoars
Love seeing struggle turn into success! Students were given materials to light a bulb to explore and get a sense of what would work with electricity. The excitement of getting the light turned on is the best part of this unit each year!

Friction is fun when you have a class that loves cars! We tested which surface has more friction by using cars, Ramps, and different surfaces. Hearing the excitement and the vocabulary use is always a great time!
Loved getting my class together today to read the next section of #Holes by #LouisSachar. One student even said “I thought chapter books were boring but I LOVE this!” So glad I can open their eyes to see the story behind the words.
Best part of my day was introducing Holes by Louis Sachar to my class!! They were so excited to get into the story and did NOT want to stop. I think I’ve got them hooked 😃 Chapter books do not have to be “scary”.
Thank you to Dr. T for coming in and leading our experiment today!! Being back in the science lab was amazing, students were overheard saying how they were like real scientists now! Love how excited they got today. #science #experiment
