Gyanesh Kumar’s daughter and Noida DM Megha Roopam put Delhi University student Aakriti Chaudhary under preventive detention under the NSA for 5 months.
The Allahabad High Court has not just quashed the cases against her and released her, but also ordered compensation of ₹5 lakh to be paid from Megha Roopam’s salary, calling the FIRs arbitrary and vague. Father is killing democracy at the India level, and daughter is doing it in Noida.
