NOTA AO BRASIL
Fui procurado por vários veículos nesta semana, inclusive pela Rede Globo, que me convidou para uma entrevista exclusiva. Aceitei com uma condição simples: que fosse exibida na íntegra, sem cortes e sem temas proibidos. A emissora preferiu não seguir adiante. Pelo que tudo indica, o Fantástico deste domingo vai exibir uma longa reportagem a meu respeito, sem me dar o direito de resposta. Se o maior grupo de comunicação do Brasil está com MEDO, não tem a menor condição moral de me julgar ou tentar destruir minha reputação.
Não sai do Brasil, sai pelo Brasil! Sonhei com a mudança do nosso país para melhor e, no domingo, apenas sete minutos após o anúncio do resultado das eleições já havia uma decisão judicial com medidas cautelares contra mim, com base em mentiras.
Doze horas depois e no meio da rua, fui intimado do início da perseguição, ao deixar a casa do Presidente Bolsonaro. Tudo diante do olhar lacrimejado de um pai, com comorbidades, que está condenado a mais de 27 anos de prisão - sem ter cometido crime algum - e que já sofre pela distância de outro filho que não vê há mais de um ano e meio, em função da perseguição ilegal e arbitrária que também sofre.
Isso não é democracia e está muito longe de ser um processo judicial justo e imparcial.
Ao menos estou num país onde posso manifestar livremente minha opinião, não serei alvo de um juíz que acordou com vontade de fazer o mal e enviou a sua polícia à minha casa para revirar as calcinhas das minhas filhas na gaveta.
Fui candidato à Presidência enfrentando todo um sistema que quer as coisas continuem como estão no Brasil: ótimas para eles, mas muito piores para você. Não me arrependo de absolutamente nada do que fiz e deixo uma reflexão: “Não há remédio eficaz no Brasil para cessar violações a Diretos Humanos.” (Cristiano Zanin, em 7/Ago/2016).
Nos próximos dias, vou conversar com grandes veículos nacionais e internacionais. Sem cortes, sem filtro. Quem quiser ouvir, ouvirá o que ninguém mais pode dizer estando no Brasil.

CRUCIAL FACTS ON THE FLAVIO BOLSONARO MATTER:
It's not just Flavio Bolsonaro who fled Brazil to escape the tyrannical persecution of Alexandre de Moraes and the pro-Lula wing of the Supreme Court. There are dozens of Brazilian exiles who have done the same: dissident journalists, activists, bloggers, and politicians who all fled to avoid certain prison for political opposition.
In most of these cases, Moraes has demanded the extradition of those who fled and whom he wants to imprison back in Brazil. But Moraes' extradition requests have been repeatedly denied by multiple countries and institutions on the grounds that these prosecutions are politically motivated or otherwise corrupted. Among those concluing this: Spain, Italy, INTERPOL, and even the US under Biden.
Just today, Italy refused Brazil's demand to extradite a person named @edutagli, who was once a top aide to Moraes, but then fled to Italy after Moraes accused him of having been my source in a huge leak from Moraes' office that I obtained for reporting I did with @Folha in 2024. That massive leak enabled us to publish roughly 20 articles proving systemic abuses of power by Moraes against his political enemies: exactly the reason so many Brazilians, including Bolsonaro, know they can't get a fair trial in Brazil.
Italy today refused to extradite the person accused of being our source on the grounds that the proceedings would be a farce because Moraes — as he so often does — wants to act as the supposed victim, investigator, and judge, and thus his demand falls well outside of Italy's extradition standards. Again, multiple countries have concluded the same, showing what a farce Brazil's once-respected judicial system has become under the Lula/Moraes regime.
Moraes has overseen a system of political persecution masquerading as criminal justice that has been recognized as a sham by multiple countries that are not exactly Bolsonaro allies. Nobody in their right mind who is a political enemy of Moraes would remain in Brazil once if it is clear that he intends to imprison you, since he has proven that guilt is a foregone conclusion and he operates with no legal or constitutional limits of any kind.
That is why asylum under international law exists: to protect those who cannot obtain justice in their own country because the justice system has been corrupted and commandeered for political persecution. Many people, such as Julian Assange, have needed that protection (which Lula cheered). Now people need it from Moraes in Brazil. That is sadly one of the main legacies of both Lula and Moraes over the last six years.

米莱连换个委婉说法的打算都没有。
他反问记者：
“我说的话哪一句不是真的？”
“说他是腐败分子，他没坐过牢吗？”
“说他是共产党，他难道不是吗？”
在当年的“洗车行动”反腐调查里，
卢拉确实在联邦监狱里服刑了整整 580 天。
后来巴西最高法院推翻了判决，理由是原审法院缺乏管辖权以及程序违规。
但那 580 天的监狱记录，就真实地摆在历史档案里。
米莱接着问了一句：
“从什么时候开始，说真话的人需要道歉了？”
为了说明这事有多荒唐，他随手指着身边的记者问：
“你多高？”
记者回答：一米八七。
米莱说，如果这时候有人坚称自己感觉上只有一米五，
难道就因为对方不承认客观现实，
我还要跑去为说了一句事实而道歉吗？
外交场合通常把这种点名当成失礼。
但米莱把事情拆回了最朴素的逻辑。
语言最初是用来记录事实的。
当大家习惯为了体面绕开现实，

Haitian gangs just made a catastrophic mistake by kidnapping four Salvadoran aviation technicians. President Nayib Bukele posted Wednesday in Haitian Creole directly to the gang leaders, and the restraint in his language only makes the threat clearer.
The four men are not combatants. They are technical personnel on a UN-backed Gang Suppression Force mission whose job is medical evacuations and saving lives. They were ambushed while returning from buying food. Bukele said a military operation is already underway with one objective: bring the four home alive and unharmed. He added that today’s action is nothing compared with what follows if they are not released, and that El Salvador has already finished with its own gangs and can finish with Haiti’s.
The gangs have already lost. Either they return the hostages immediately or the consequences get worse. Bukele has a clear record of dismantling gangs at home. He’s not going to leave his people behind.
Haiti remains the country the Clintons raised hundreds of millions for after the earthquake and left in ruins. Democrats still push open immigration from a place where gangs have been documented eating people. Remember that when Democrats talk about “compassion” this fall.
The four Salvadorans have the right man in charge. Bukele will not fail them.

J’ai entendu dire que la France était finie, qu’il était trop tard pour la sauver.
Mais la France est toujours aussi belle, enviable même. Sa grandeur n’a pas disparu, elle ne demande qu’à renaître.
Nous avons surmonté en un an un problème cent fois plus grave, sans avoir les moyens dont dispose la France.
La France pourrait y arriver en une semaine.
