- US copper imports hit 1.52 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2026, up 17% on last year
- Copper inventories across China’s major regions have dropped to around 60,000 tonnes

Output in Chile and Peru is not keeping up.
The bottleneck is not demand. It is how fast new supply gets financed.
Tokenizing in-ground reserves brings that capital forward.
Copper is doing exactly what economics says it should do in a rising demand environment: sending a much stronger price signal.
But for investors, this is an opportunity.
If higher prices cannot quickly coax more copper out of Chile or Peru, where does the next tonne come from?
