As a street artist, I’m used to working among trash, but this is completely unacceptable. On Blatchley & Grand there are too many kids with the school at the corner to ignore this. I refuse to complete this work until this issue is resolved. @mayorelicker @nhpublichealth
Almost finished with the mental health themed mural at Grand & Blatchley in Fair Haven. Commissioned by Yale PRCH.

Yale Hospital will put up a Black Lives Matter sign or maybe a press release—but while patients sit at the Emergency Room and wait for help, Black, Hispanic, and low-income lives matter less to Yale than rich and White lives.

This flower mural I’ve been installing in Fair Haven for Yale PRCH on the corner Grand & Blatchley, when complete will be my 30th work of public art.
I saw the largest black bear in my life crossing the street today in front of my house. Silent, magnificent, shadow of a creature. We keep cutting down our forests for strip malls and bs, there’s no where for them to live in peace.

Watch the transformation of this wall at the corner of Grand and Blatchley over the next month or so in an act of NOT so random kindness and beauty. Thanks @kwadwoadae and all who help, for adding to the growing number of murals in #FairHaven #NewHaven #NHV – at New Haven, CT
