Excited to announce we’ve raised $7M led by @a16zcrypto CSX to build a factoring protocol for venues and deliver loyalty rewards to fans
We’re the first web3 company to onboard legendary venues like LPR and H0l0, driving $4M+ in ticket sales in the past year alone

So many neobanks. None that offer credit. How can you be a bank without offering credit?
Live is the one thing AI can’t replace. But you can’t fix live until you fix where its money comes from.
Ticketing companies aren't banks. Venues and artists should be unbanked.
This all changes with the Bank of Live where we enter the new age of AI Finance x Live Events
Two sold-out nights
A record breaking New York debut.
Angine de Poitrine went up with @RollingStone in the room and MSG-level demand at the door
Exclusively on KYD Labs: we made sure real fans were first to get tickets with every resale capped at face value using @tixprotocol

Marketing is shifting from digital → IRL events.
As social become more saturated and AI makes fake infinite, attention will shift from digital to real life.
The brands that win over the next 5 years will create large scale live experiences that will define and communicate their brand to reach their customers.

Host Stephen Sargeant (@lifesgt) welcomes @davbarrick, CTO and co-founder of @tixprotocol & @kydlabs, to discuss why ticketing is fundamentally a banking business and how blockchain can fix fees, fraud, and resale chaos. Barrick explains primary vs. secondary ticketing, how venues rely on ticketing companies for underwriting and advances, and why service fees function like “interest” paid by fans. They cover open distribution, speculative ticket listings, and why NFT ticketing failed by ignoring venue financing realities. Barrick introduces TIX, a Solana-based protocol plus a developer platform that lets secondary marketplaces verify ticket ownership, enforce resale rules, and automate royalty settlement without venues managing private keys. KYD Labs currently serves mid-cap New York venues and aims to scale toward larger markets, with a long-term goal of major issuers adopting TIX.

ATC features @davbarrick, CTO and co-founder of @tixprotocol the financial settlement infrastructure behind next-generation ticketing, and @kydlabs, the first production platform built on TIX. He leads the company's technical strategy, building systems for transparent settlement, programmable ticketing, and on-chain venue financing. Through KYD Labs, TIX has powered more than 300,000 tickets, facilitated over $8 million in ticket sales, and enabled $2 million in venue financing with zero defaults.
David believes the biggest challenge in ticketing isn't technology—it's control.
While artists and venues create the experience, they often lose control of what happens once a ticket is sold. Resale prices skyrocket, tickets change hands multiple times, and the people who created the value rarely benefit from it.
He envisions a future where creators have greater control over how their tickets move, how they're resold, and how the value they create continues to work for them long after the initial sale.
Do you think creators should have more control over what happens to their tickets after they're sold? Let us know your thoughts below.
Who's really creating the value?

🚨 What if the biggest problem in ticketing isn't scalpers… but the system itself?
Join host Stephen Sargeant (@lifesgt) for an eye-opening conversation with @Davbarrick, Co-Founder & CTO of @tixprotocol and @KYDLabs, on the latest episode of Around The Coin. Together, they explore how outdated ticketing infrastructure has turned ticketing companies into financial gatekeepers—and why blockchain could finally give artists, venues, and fans the control they've been missing.
🎟️ David shares why the future of ticketing isn't about NFTs or hype—it's about creating verifiable, fraud-resistant tickets, reducing excessive resale fees, and giving event organizers greater control over how tickets are bought, sold, and transferred. From World Cup tickets to Taylor Swift resale prices, this conversation breaks down how on-chain infrastructure can reshape the live events industry.
💡 If you're interested in crypto with real-world utility, fintech innovation, digital ownership, or the future of live entertainment, this episode offers a fresh perspective on how blockchain can solve problems that traditional systems still struggle with.
🎙️ Tune in now and discover why the next revolution in crypto may not happen in finance—it could happen at the ticket gate.

Washington, D.C. just passed one of the strongest anti-scalping laws we’ve seen.
@solana and @tixprotocol are the best mechanisms to enforce it.
The RESALE Act enforces now legislatively these core mechanics that KYD has today by default through TIX
That means:
• A 10% resale cap can be enforced automatically
• Tickets cannot be listed without verified ownership
• Artists and venues can participate in resale economics
• Buyers can verify authenticity before purchasing
• Resale activity can be audited without exposing private fan data
The law sets the rules.
Solana and TIX make them enforceable.
