This is BY FAR one of the best ones I've seen from the "This Ain't Canon" page...the most pointless 3 minutes you can spend in your day, but well worth it, especially if you're an 80's action movie fan.
This is what AI is made for. Murtaugh is too old for this 💩 and Riggs has to find a new partner. I absolutely love how they brought in every character from that era and even combined two different characters for one actor in a couple different scenes. 🤣🤣🤣💥🔫

I saw that this morning. That's going to be a major hit to a lot of characters...

@kyleboreing If you haven't seen Coyote vs Acme, it's a classic, but this was a shock. msn.com/en-gb/entertainment/…

Let this be a lesson - EVERY single piece of digital data you create and/or save somewhere CAN be traced right back to you somehow.
In 1985, Dennis Rader drove a woman's body to his own church and photographed it there. He was president of the congregation. Twenty years later the police traced a floppy disk to a computer in that same church, saved by a user called Dennis. Ten murders between 1974 and 1991, thirty-one years uncaught, and he had named himself BTK. He had asked the police in writing whether the disk could be traced. They told him no. He had his own vocabulary. The people he picked were projects. The bag was his hit kit. One of the ten lived on his street. Asked in court whether she knew him, he said they used to wave. "It wasn't anything personal. I mean, just a neighbor." His daughter later found out that the car he gave her to drive to high school had carried a body in the trunk. In 2004 he asked the police, in writing, whether a floppy disk could be traced back to him. Then he added two words. Be honest. They ran an ad in the local paper telling him it was safe. It was a lie. The disk came back carrying metadata. A computer at Christ Lutheran Church. A user called Dennis. The church website listed him as president of the congregation. In the video below the judge takes him through the last of the ten, and he answers like a man describing a job he used to do. He got 175 years. Rader later asked the detective why he had lied to him. "Because I was trying to catch you." Would you have lied to him?

This came up on my playlist today, part of my "Rewind" collection of 70's and 80's-era country music. Still really proud of how this project overall came out and this song in particular. youtube.com/watch?v=h3k2ixMe…

“Dad, we’re ok…” I couldn’t be more thankful tonight that those were the first three words I heard from Alec himself after attending his girlfriend's Homecoming dance. An ill-timed left turn resulted in a crash that leaves us down a car, but the fact that it happened AFTER the dance and within a couple blocks of her house makes us all the more grateful that they both walked away with no injuries. Thank you, God, for keeping Your hand on them tonight.

Just got this in the mail. Look closely, and you'll see a future member of the Imperials and two future @oakridgeboys. I believe this was recorded in 1968. @joebonsall @RASterban

Even grocery bags are subject to “shrinkflation” - the ones I got at Kroger today had the durability of wet toilet paper.

OPEN LETTER TO @RepMarkTakano and @BernieSanders Can you explain how you intend to ensure hourly employees don't take a financial hit when their employers reduce their hours to stay outside the overtime threshold? Assuming an employee that makes $15/hr had previously been given 40 hours per week for a gross annual income of $31,200, that same employee working 32 hours per week would be losing $120/week, or a whopping $6,240 annually, knocking their annual income from $31,2000 to $24,960. That quite a hit financially when citizens are already struggling to stay above water on a daily basis. The only way they wouldn't have an impact is if their hourly wage was increased to $18.75/hr (which would probably require additional legislation to account for a federal minimum wage increase, which hasn't happened since 2009), or if employers willingly allowed for 37.5 hours per week, at which point, the businesses would lose 2.5 hours of productivity per employee per week. Using the same $15/hr example, that's a loss of $1,950 annually PER EMPLOYEE. What's to stop employers from cutting staff to balance out the difference (which means not only would at least one employee lose wages; they would lose their entire job as a result of this bill). Help me with this math so it makes sense please, because right now, it looks like the only thing you're doing is setting employees and businesses up for failure.
The data is in & the time is now to modernize work culture for the better. I'm reintroducing the 32-Hour Workweek Act to allow workers to begin reclaiming their time, and their lives, with no loss of pay.

How I wish Norm were here to give us updates on current courtroom updates…
Dismissed Simpson juror Jeanette Harris revealed in interviews this week that the jury is torn by dissension, and is already divided into two camps: Those who think he is guilty, and those who are really, really stupid.

From @ARMoviesHQ - this would be the ONLY acceptable remake of this movie, and I would pay to see it without hesitation.

In Idaho, a five million dollar project to fix cracks in the Dworshak Dam has been a huge success, according to officials from the Army Corps of Engineers. However, the dam could easily have been fixed at a far more reasonable price tag, according to this beaver. (barely any laughs at all - one lone person in the crowd just claps slowly and mockingly) Norm: They'll have to agree to disagree.
