I’m honestly beginning to think maybe you lot are right & I would do a better job 🤦🏻♀️
Exciting owl news! We've heard Little Owls calling to each other for a couple of weeks but finally spotted one from our garden today! They must be nesting nearby 🥰 #Suffolk
Spent 45 mins on the phone to @ScottishPower as the smart meter display hasn't worked since installation 3wks ago. Told 'tough luck' and they won't fix it. Trying to be careful with energy use but getting no help from @ScottishPower. V poor customer care in an energy crisis.
Excellent thread from John Taylor about how communities can come together to help mitigate against the energy crisis next winter. Some great ideas here 👍
If you only read one thread on how we can ‘learn to live with Covid’ let it be this. Living with Covid doesn’t mean ignoring it. Sound, practical thoughts on how things can be improved from Professor Christina Pagel @chrischirp
A new painting of a barn owl in flight. Based on a photo I took at @suffolkowls sanctuary 🙂

Dropping isolation makes work & socialising riskier & boosters are waning, covid keeps evolving & it's harder to know about local case levels.
Basically govt plans that we will all get covid several times - like a cold but with a much more dangerous disease.

This little songbird flew off to a new home earlier this week.
We often see song thrushes in our back garden although I haven't seen any this year... yet! Here's hoping they come back again. I love that beautiful song!
Here's a little Throwback Thursday to this time last year when I was painting snowdrops from my Mum's garden.
This was the first of three snowdrop paintings, which sold straight away. They are such striking and distinctive flowers.

It’s a nod to the paper’s 1939 exclusive about the Sutton Hoo discovery - the subject of the film - even has our authentic 1939 masthead. 👌 🙏

Ok - I may have had half a glass, but it's getting to that stage of Hogmanay where we all look ahead to 2021 with hopes and dreams.
This year has certainly been strange and has challenged us all in ways we could never have expected. For me, painting and finding solace and joy in the natural world has never been more important!
I hope you have a safe and peaceful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year xx
