For 2 years you’ll work with me across the company, then move into a senior role in biz ops or finance
The right person is highly organized, self-motivated, hungry, and comfortable keeping many things moving at once. CoS, banking, or staffer backgrounds are likely fits

Just did a longform conversation with @laboss on what’s actually happened to crypto and why it's working.
Where stablecoins fit into geopolitics, Bitcoin as generational trade (why it rarely acts like gold), prosocial prediction markets, when crypto VC will end, and more.
Worth a listen if you’re still trying to figure out why crypto is suddenly back 👇

At some point everyone will figure out Gaurav quietly runs one of the best interview series on the internet. Until then I get to feel early
Nikesh Arora is the Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks. Before that, he ran Google’s European business and was handpicked by Masayoshi Son to one day lead SoftBank.
He came to America with $2,000 from his father, planning to go home once he had saved $100,000.
In 2018, Nikesh took over Palo Alto Networks despite knowing almost nothing about cybersecurity. Since then, its revenue had quadrupled and its stock has risen ~10x.
Nikesh is the operator’s operator. He walks into industries as an outsider, sees the game more clearly than the people inside it, and makes very big companies move very fast.
Eric Schmidt once called him “the finest analytical businessman” he had ever worked with. Nikesh says he has had “limited success” and “just runs a normal business.”
My conversation with @nikesharora:

Earlier in the year, @gauravahuja and I went looking for a concise, visually striking chronicle of the breakthrough moments that shaped modern technology -- and couldn't find one. So we made it!
Incredibly excited to publish Artifacts to the world today. The book is a walk through time, distilling the catalytic “why-now” shocks that turned fragile ideas into enduring platforms, from vacuum tubes to quantum leaps. We believe that knowing where we came from is the best way to imagine where we can go, and every category-defining company we admire can trace its roots to one of these moments in time.
This book is a love letter to the technological breakthroughs of the past century and an ode to the moments that became Timeless.
We're proud to share it today with the people who will write the next pages. Check your mail soon!
