I've read people say that 6 times in the last 48 hours. Possibly a "depends what circles one is in" thing.

(And by "that", I mean the specific complaint of costing the title, not generic criticism)

If you can’t control the media, and can’t yet censor it effectively, attack its credibility. Call it "fake news" so enough people will doubt when the truth comes out. Create a thousand alternate realities. But control and censorship is still the bigger prize, don’t forget it.

Unfortunately, F1 Academy has already proven a step back, with its graduates further from the pace of Formula E than W Series, already further behind than the women who went before. Meanwhile, women's careers are wasted by putting them in trap series that don't develop them.

GB3 has a better record of generating onward progress than either F1 Academy or W Series, but it would be better for most of these racers to go the GB4 - GB3 route (as well as being less expensive - GB4 costs end where F1 Academy costs begin).

Do u know what we HATE? We hate FREE TO WATCH SPORTSCARS RACES!!! Asian Le Mans, European Le Mans , Le Mans Cup, IMSA, WEC... it would make us REALLY MAD if people recommended their favorite race of the year in the replies and QRTs for the newbies 😡😡😡

I had it happen 15 years ago. Thankfully with a team that was able to arrange a soft landing (sportscars - he's still driving for same manufacturer's cars today, but gets to spend more time with his family).

It took me a while to accept that - he had an offer from a F1 team for a while that didn't happen - but seeing him happy reconciled me to the retirement. May all the drivers whose F1 seats are threatened or recently lost similarly get happy endings/continuations.

It is possible to get some "lived experience" on a trip, if it is done carefully. There are translators in Israel, some of whom are excellent. Sometimes actions speak louder than words.

Of course, without reading the book or seeing a reasonably balanced summation of it, it is unlikely I will ever find out if any of these 3 things apply to this specific book. It is, however, something that should be considered.

"Terrorist" had a completely different meaning in the 1930s (and was generally assumed to mean the IRA or people who behaved similarly back then). Calling Hitler or the Nazis terrorists would have been misleading in a way that using those words in their current meaning would not.

Also, the BBC's independent news-gathering ability outside the UK was in its infancy (before 1934, it could only take what governments and Reuters gave it, pretty much verbatim). It wasn't in much position to argue against official lines.

Number of pagers shipped: (I first saw 2711, but according to AP Press it was 4000 apnews.com/article/pagers-ex… ). Number of medical personnel in Lebanon: 15,540 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article… . Number of Hezbollah (est): < 10000. % of shipments mixed in international transport: Nearly all.

From there, knowing the majority of pagers did not end up in Hezbollah hands is simply maths.

Even if every single pager had killed a Hezbollah terrorist (which due to the scattergun approach couldn't have happened), it wouldn't have been worthwhile to Israel to do this as a counter-terrorist move. It only makes sense if this is a wilful act of terrorism from Netanyahu.

(In case you are wondering, I'm singling out Israel's leader because he started the Gaza campaign to prevent his being outsted by Israeli democratic process. Thus, he's there against Israeli law, and supporting him is inherently anti-Israel).

Apparently, you're one of them. Because this all started because Benjamin Netanyahu wouldn't yield power as the Israeli people requested, and decided to use a bad excuse to retain it (instead of recognising it as proof that someone more competent should be elected instead).

Only if you think Israelis deserve to have their country stolen from them by someone who used the power to commit many acts of terrorism (condemmed by the highest court of human rights that exists), would supporting Netanyahu and acts like these make sense.

They might arrest Elon Musk, since there is evidence of him committing a number of crimes, but I think X would outright benefit from a Harris administration. Elon's simply looking out for his own skin.

(Necessary disclaimer: Evidence - which is enough for an arrest and investigation. I'm not sure whether we have court-level proof).

The pagers were imported 5 months ago. It would have been impossible to be sure of tracking them all. By the time of explosion, they could have been nearly anywhere in the world, in nearly anyone's hands. Also, pagers are most common in the medical profession…

…meaning the most likely holders of the pagers (if not the intended targets, and there were too many to be sure even the majority were even in the right place) would be medical professionals. Who have special rights under the Geneva Convention.

Lots of programmers are good at both. Some not so much, but they learn a certain amount on the job.

Also, economic reasoning is not always the same as programming reasoning, and the specialisms in maths are a bit different too.

At this point, you are coming across as ignorant in Netanyahu having increasing motive to extend the conflict (he's already rejected one deal that Hamas backed, which was significantly in excess of what the International Court of Justice permits him to have).
1

You also appear to have disregarded that as Israel is officially convicted of multiple war crimes by the ICJ, and of having used UK weapons to commit some of them, technically Israel has no more standing to request anything in negotiations than Hamas.
