Phone call w/Mom: Your dad got his hand caught between a guy wire & the lawnmower. It swelled up pretty big & bruised a lot. He probably broke a few small bones but it’s getting better. It’s always something with him (he’s 82 & has cancer) πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

On a late-night whim I made some bar cookies for my coworkers. The middle was a little sunk-in, but frosting will cover that. I couldn’t get the frosting smooth, so holiday sprinkles to cover the lumps. Instead of a pan of cookies I now have a metaphor for life right now πŸ˜…
