I needed a pick-me-up today and was still pissed that they didn’t play Missy Elliott at Y2K Prom last weekend… So I made a playlist of new millennium-era prom bangers open.spotify.com/playlist/1z…

The truth has prevailed. The federal court ruled in Oregon’s favor to block a military intervention in Portland. While this ruling is only the first step, it’s a step in the right direction. Thanks to Attorney General Rayfield and his team for great work. youtu.be/1zen0-236-s?si=YBgY…

In Shelton, WA, Firefighters—were treated not as heroes, but as suspects. Among them were members of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla tribes, Indigenous peoples whose ancestors have lived on this land. Yet they were interrogated about their immigration status.

CC: OCTA board members. Using your region's public transit system 3-5 days a week should be required as part of serving.
As a Los Angeles County Supervisor and Metro Board Member, it’s so important to actually understand & experience the systems we’re entrusted to lead. I’m committing to riding @metrolosangeles regularly, & I’m encouraging all of my colleagues to do the same. All aboard! 🚌🚌🚌

My heart's breaking right now. I grew up at the Alhambra, Monterey Park border, and I have so much love for Garvey Ave and the people in the area. My dad does morning walks on Garvey, I grew up catching the bus on Garvey/Atlantic a mile away. This should have never happened.

At this moment, if all the scores stay the same, Costa Rica 🇨🇷 and Japan 🇯🇵 could knock out two European teams. Please let this reality happen. 🥲 #WorldCup2022
