Will "comics break your heart"? Probably. But you'll make it a sure thing if you go into selling comics below cost, touting "high quality" larger format, paper stock, stitching, and a custom box that the comic comes in along with a bunch of goodies to draw in potential customers.
Today's #Inktober entry is the only good thing to come out of DC's "Bloodlines" event, Tommy Monaghan aka Hitman.

Being a cyborg would suck. It'd be the worst parts of going to the doctor and to the auto-shop to maintain it all. You can't just bolt cybernetic prosthetics on to unreinforced flesh either. You'd have to pay a higher tier to run the fastest, and imagine if you were hacked.
Just seeing all these in a row made me think of Claremont's X-Men, especially the 80s run where it was "ripped from the headlines." I could easily see a new leader of the Friends of Humanity who's dirty secret is that he's got a catboy mutie "friend."

Was reminded of the 2003 Greg Rucka and Darrick Robertson Wolverine series that epitomizes the "Vertigo-ifcation" of Marvel. Also that was a title I dropped quickly, as it was so dull.
I watched "Planet of the Vampires" for the first time last night, and it was great.
Dan O'Bannon really took to it, I can see this movie in Lifeforce, Return of the Living Dead, and especially Alien with the giant dead alien.
With all that's going on in France, seeing Japanese posts in my timeline I noticed something, if the post isn't autotranslated from Japanese to English it's often quite brutal.
