Last week’s gathering of The Last Drop Assembly at @TheConnaught was the first gathering of all Founder Members and a timely reminder both of the importance of meeting in person, and of the pleasure of sharing: sharing knowledge, conversation, food, wine and remarkable spirits.
After lunch, Victoria Moore @PlanetVictoria hosted a fascinating discussion with The Assembly members on the subject of Scents & Sensibilities. A fascinating subject in a world where much discussion is about what AI can do for us: but can’t replicate our sense of smell or taste.

Drew Mayville is the he Master Blender for Sazerac and author of The Last Drop’s latest release no 28: a unique blend of Kentucky Straight Whiskeys. It comprises whiskeys which Drew has been saving over his 20 years at @buffalotracedistillery.
As curators of fine and remarkable spirits, we are very particular about our cask management; however, these ones are only for show.
