Xabi Alonso on Joao Pedro's injury: "Yesterday in training he felt something, and at the moment he has some liquid, so we have to do some tests to know how big the injury is. It's disappointing, but we need to carry on." [via @skysports]

WEATHER UPDATE: According to TalkSport who think Coventry vs Fulham and Sunderland vs Leeds could be at risk... Saturday’s games of Aston Villa vs Manchester City, Arsenal vs Everton and Chelsea vs Tottenham all appear to have escaped the worst of the weather. Coventry vs Fulham at 3pm could be the most at risk on Saturday with heavy downpours and wing gusts of 44MPH expected around kick-off. The inclement weather will continue into Sunday and there are five Premier League games in the schedule. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle would appear to be fine, but the other four games are taking place in the north of the country and could all be in trouble. Hull vs Brentford, Liverpool vs Brighton, Manchester United vs Bournemouth and Sunderland vs Leeds will all take place under the yellow weather warning should they not be postponed. Sunderland looks set to face the volatile conditions with winds of 63MPH being forecasted in Tyneside. While rain shouldn’t be an issue on Sunday, wind gusts are set to be at least 50MPH in Hull, Liverpool and Manchester too. Full story: talksport.com/football/46629…

Bukayo Saka faces a minimum of 6 weeks out. Some sources say the timeline for a return is 6-8 weeks but its important to update as and when his recovery begins as these situations are complex. More scans today as Mikel said. The lad has given everything for this club.

AA on King: " I talked with him after the Ipswich game. and during all the weeks. I told him: "You are young, but if you want to be one of the best players in the world, you need to take that responsibility." You can see very good and young players around the world that they are top, top players. They are young, but they like and they love their responsibility and Josh can do it. "I think he's very humble but I think he can play really well and he can feel the pressure and he can manage that pressure in a good way and when the ball is hot and the game is in a difficult moment, I think he can do it so well for us. He has everything. So yes, I trust them (my young players) and this is why I always demand the best from the young players because I trust them." #FFC
