This was the 3rd Gateway Fate (always in STL; my home city)- an Unofficial Final Fantasy Fan Con- and I look forward to it every year. This year was extra awesome! And since I'm 6 months pregnant, the LAN PvP panel was perfect for the aches, pains & fatigue (aka plenty of chairs)! 🤞🏼 For another one next year!

I was invited to a PvP tournament hosted by @gidsonBrand we had 0 experience together and we joined the night it happened, we won 2 matches, against a team then we got to the finals and somehow we reverse swept and got our win.

To those of you who missed Gateway Fate this year, I put together a quick vlog about my experience there
I will want to take a second crack at this later cause the editing is choppy, but please enjoy me gushing about the Super Bowl of Final Fantasy 14 >:D

Company can’t lay off more than 250 people within 90 days or
Incur a penalty or something, sounds like the unit is being dismantled, expecting more layoffs in 90 days. If anyone is looking for a software engineering manager (and maybe even his 5 dev team) throw it my way.

I made a video about my thoughts on GATEway FATE this year. I would have liked it to be longer but my voice wasn't holding out well. I loved spending the weekend with you all so much and wish it wasn't over.

Cheating/Hacking has been running more rampant again in Ranked PvP. Some time ago on EU it took weeks before it was resolved and now NA has 3 active players speed/elevation/etc hacking. (Desdemona Red - Diabolos, Syde Heaux - Balmung, Zephyr Tempest - Behemoth) @FF_XIV_EN
