Preach my brother
WATCH: In a stunning moment, Rep. Jamie Raskin says Democrats are going to take back power from the Executive Branch:
βWe have the power to declare war, not Donald Trump. We have got the power to regulate federal buildings. If the president can bulldoze the east wing, he can bulldoze the west wing. It is not his house. It is our house, it belongs to the people, and Congress governs it.β

BE LOUD PLEASE!
This worked for them to get Biden out-
Letβs turn up the heat, the volume!

Will you commit to voting NO to Jeffries and Schumer in leadership? That's the MOST IMPORTANT issue facing America, at this MOMENT! They have ENABLED Trump and his treacherous Regime for TOO LONG! America overwhelmingly REJECTS them!

π¨ NEW | Jon Stewart on The Weekly Show, shutting down Schumerβs defenders:
βChuck Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these f*cking peopleβ¦He does not understand the urgency of the moment and what the future demands.β

9 yrs ago the world learned I was unjustly fired for posting this WH pool photo of me flipping off DJT. I went on to unseat a two-term MAGA, & was re-elected 4 yrs later. Now Iβm running for County Chair to stop data center sprawl! Support our race here: bit.ly/4k2xwW3

TRAGIC that both sides missed the message of Tuesday's historic elections:
-Trump hiring Stephen Miller as Chief of Staff which will ultimately hurt Republicans.
-And Democrats backing Schumer/Jeffries to lead Democratic party which will hurt Democrats.

The voters did their part. Now the party has to do its part. If ever there was a way to kill Democratic momentum, it would be to allow Schumer back into the powerful position that enabled Trump to return to the White House with a Senate Majority.
Schumerβs failures are well documented, and any insinuation that he gets credit for Tuesdayβs wins is laughable at best. These wins happened not because of him, but despite him. Letβs Address This.

We want accountability and health care! We want hearings and end to Iran war! We want impeachments and raise the minimum wage! Do both! Do your job! No reaching across the isle!

Pay attention.
Donald Trump has named Stephen Miller Chief of Staff
While
@hakeemjeffries is talking about no accountability for Trump admin crimes AND not impeaching Trump.
Do you see what's happening?
Jeffries & Schumer are weak and will squander Tuesday's historic night.

Let's do it. Let's dare him to veto:
β¨β Ending the Iran war
β Canceling $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts
β Restoring ACA Tax Credits
β Raising the federal minimum wage
β Terminating tariffs and issuing refunds to consumers
β Forcing data centers to pay for their own energy and water
β Banning presidential and congressional stock trading

Congratulations to Nancy Lacore who was elected to South Carolinaβs 1st District. She was fired by Pete Hegseth without cause, and now will be overseeing his possible impeachment! We want accountability, not retribution. β

I can't really think of much to say about this without making this post about how utterly sickening and evil it is to be racist.
So I will say, Thank You, Georgia!
Y'all are amazing! π

Removing Jeffries and Schumer from leadership is your first job. Your second is convicting, impeaching, and removing the entire Trump Regime for treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors under Article II, Section 4. We'll accept nothing less. Our lawmakers took oaths to defend and protect the Constitution from enemies, both foreign and domestic. It's time to honor those oaths.

Important. Below.
There is much to celebrate this week, but I want to call specific attention to historic gains Democratic women made in representation:
- For the first time in history, over 100 Democratic women will serve in the U.S. House.
- At least 16 Democratic women will serve in the Senate.
- At least 14 Democratic women will serve as governors, a record high.
- A record of 2,600 Democratic women running for seats in state legislatures helped flip 12 majorities and break 11 supermajorities.
- Four states elected their first woman governor: Georgia, Minnesota, Ohio, and Tennessee.
- @KeishaBottoms will be the first Black woman to serve as a governor.
- @DebHaalandNM will be the first Native American woman to serve as a governor.
- @GinaHinojosaTX will be the first Latina to serve as governor of Texas.
- @peggyflanagan will be the first Native American woman to serve in the Senate.
I am beyond excited to see these extraordinary people and public servants tackle accountability, affordability, and our other challenges to make life better for everyone in this country.
Congratulations to everyone who ran: win or lose, fighting for what's right is always worth it.
