Another Looney Tunes film has been saved: BYE BYE BUNNY.
It will be Eric Bauza’s final film, as he tragically passed away today.
For years, he had fought for COYOTE VS. ACME and BYE BYE BUNNY to see the light of day and he managed to fulfill his dream before he was gone.

these characters have existed for almost a century now and have been treated terribly by their company for years, but eric fought for them until he died
he brought them back to us and carried on their legacy. rest in eternal peace, eric
Here’s my singing audition that helped me book “Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical ” — with screenplay and lyrics by Emmy Award winner Ariel Dumas (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and music and orchestration by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Grammy winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal). Wish we could’ve seen this one come to fruition — would’ve been a good one 🎞️ 🎥 🍿 🥕🐰#StandWithAnimation @papertiki

‘Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical’ was Eric Bauza’s final project.
Before passing away he was working on the film, which had secretly been put back in production after Warner Bros previously shelved it.
