He died at 8:00 a.m on 3 November 2026, aged 30. The club said they were "heartbroken, with a lump in our throats"
When he was 16 years old, he tweeted that he needed to pass every subject or his parents wouldn't let him travel to Tenerife. He passed and later signed for Tenerife

L'attaquant du CD Tenerife Jesús de Miguel est mort ce mardi 3 novembre, après un violent choc avec le gardien adverse lors d'un match de deuxième division espagnole. Son club a annoncé son décès dans un communiqué. Le joueur de 30 ans, percuté dans les airs par le gardien du club d'Andorre Jesus Owono, avait été évacué en urgence à l'hôpital, où il avait été déclaré dans un premier temps dans un « état stable, bien que grave ». Ce violent choc a provoqué l'interruption de la rencontre, comptant pour la 12e journée, à la 97e minute, alors que le score était de 2-2.
