Grateful to @RepCarolineTX for her leadership on HB 4099—continuing the push for access to care by empowering patients to seek treatment from a physical therapist without needing a physician referral. Progress that puts patients first. #txlege #AccessToCare

Don’t always agree with the SAEN on their endorsements but this one is spot on. Dan Patrick is an awful person and is the tip of the spear for the cultural wars in Texas. If you want to change the content and tone of government in Texas we have to elect Mike Collier.

Did you know? When Bill Clinton banned assault weapons in 1994, mass shootings dropped by 43%. After George W. Bush and the GOP let the assault weapons ban expire in 2004, mass shootings increased by 245%. — These numbers tell a story.

Living in San Antonio, I see it as service to the community when Spanish-speaking journalists say names of cities, towns, streets, rivers, etc. correctly in Spanish, while reporting in English. I think it’s part of a next phase of cultural reclaiming.

From now on, if political reporters ask Josh Hawley if he’s planning to run, he’s going to have to ask them to clarify.

The failure in Uvalde took many forms. We still need a lot more answers. But let’s be clear. It began with a culture that accepts gun violence as just a part of modern life.
