Whether AI exists or not, the traditional film industry has already been in decline. We're entering an era of more diverse entertainment and expression. We don't necessarily have to follow in the footsteps of past great works. Now, with AI democratizing creativity, we can explore and share the worlds we imagine. Seedance 2.0. See the imaginary dancing in the world.
hmmm. if true.
That's how Kimi AI are promoting their new model Kimi K3.1 pro and I know all the influencers working with them and none of them are honest,I have posted about it myself but I didn't join this and never used their templates that they provide.
PROPAGANDA, I have more to share it's f**cked up I'm gonna have follow up for this
Hi! @poteto Is this legit or phishing? 🤔 Got a "SpaceXAI user research" survey email from email.grok.com offering $15 credits / Amazon gift card. Don't wanna click if it's sketchy.
This is sort of misleading.
What Claude shows here isn't image or video generation. Some clips are existing footage (one is literally from 5 Centimeters per Second). It isn't rendering photoreal, film-grade video from scratch.
What it's really good at is motion design and narrative editing. It reads your intent, takes whatever you feed it (footage, audio, images, real or AI-generated), codes motion graphics, scores music, and cuts it all into a coherent, professional story.
That's an AI video editor and director, not a video gen model. And honestly, Opus 5.5 can already do this.
If the next model is better, the leap is in storytelling, not in replacing image/video gen.
Claude Next Model :)
its over for image/video gen , if you are not impressed with this wait for two image gen output that will look that it was shot on camera but purely coded
never thought ai will get replaced by ai
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
OP is only using the work of an artist and modifying it with AI.

To be clear: the motion design pieces are procedurally generated, code rendering animation, and that's exactly what Claude excels at.
But that's a completely different track from Seedance 2.5-style models, which synthesize film-like footage pixel by pixel. Different logic, different problem. One doesn't make the other obsolete.
WTH! Grok Bot! Next Level!
I asked Grok Bot for a 15-second one-take motion showreel.
I didn't expect it to build its own 3D renderer to make it. 🤯
No Blender. No Cinema 4D. No 3D software at all.
It wrote a ray-marching renderer from scratch in GLSL, then rendered all 900 frames on CPU. Reflections, glass refraction, soft shadows, and a glossy floor are all computed by code it wrote itself.
It even composed the soundtrack.
I never told it to do any of this. It just did.
1080p · 60fps · one continuous shot · zero cuts.
This is genuinely blowing my mind.

It’s actually pretty solid, but I’ve got two main worries:
Privacy: I’m not sure everyone wants their personal activity showing up in public thread comments.
Spam: If everyone starts tagging the bot in the comments, it’s going to totally flood the thread.
I think we should give users the option to choose whether or not to expose their activity.
Also, regarding the feed, I don’t think tagging the bot in comments should be shown; it just clutters up the meaningful discussions. We should separate those out.
Good design. Bad design. Same screen.
The attachment area above the composer covers the message text.
Resizing the window doesn’t help,
it moves with the layout. I’m already at the scroll limit, so there’s no way to bring the text into view.
If attachments sit there, the conversation needs a safe area so the text can scroll clear of them.
