Thanks for having me on!
The @freepressind poll is the big story in Indiana politics, showing Democrats may be able to capitalize on voter dissatisfaction across the state. @lerdody joined me to discuss the surprising results. youtu.be/ARtYC_Z2IiY?si=qhIl…
Treasurer results show the Republican up, which would be expected here.
Republican Daniel Elliott: 43%
Democrat Coumba Kebe: 38%
Don't know/unsure: 19%
The secretary of state poll results are the headliner — but — comptroller was a surprise that shouldn't be overlooked.
Democrat Jessica Bailey: 39%
Republican incumbent Elise Nieshalla: 36%
Libertarian John Schick: 4%
Don't know/unsure: 21%

Time for what you've all been waiting for: Secretary of state poll results.
Bayh: 43%
Engling: 35%
Ballard: 5%
Shillings: 6%
Margin of error was +/- 3.4... which means Bayh is outside of that. Not a common thing for Dems in IN.

Name recognition (likely from all those TV ads) seems to be helping Bayh. Only 27% said they had never heard of him, compared to 48% who said they had never heard of Engling.

One of the most surprising results in the poll. We regularly hear from people worried about inflation and yet government corruption was the top concern for more Hoosiers.
1 in 4 Indiana voters say that government corruption is their top concern.
Inflation and cost of living came in second. bit.ly/4Ba21iK
Will we have Secretary of State poll results? Yes. But you'll have to wait until tomorrow for that.
This morning, we released results of a new statewide poll. One takeaway: Trump and Braun approval ratings are both underwater by 10 percentage points. fpinews.org/policy/2026/10/1…
