😁 I find it interesting that a lot of programmers try to write "optimal" code from the get-go. 😒 This is inefficient. πŸ‘‡ Here's how I do it
1
2
1. Write the functional code for the feature or problem 2. Make the code easier to read and maintain 3. Optimize the code for CPU/RAM consumption πŸ’ͺ This process forces you to review your code and test it many times which results in better code. πŸ€” What process do you use?

🀷 Lately I've been out of ideas... πŸ€” What content would you like to see from me?

πŸ’» Freelancing in the embedded seems weird, but here's where it works: πŸ”ΈYou need a small team to prototype a new project πŸ”ΈYou need an expert to help with a topic πŸ”ΈYou want to outsource a task πŸ€” What other scenarios can you think about?

πŸ’ͺ It's essential to get out of your comfort zone daily. 🦷 For example I wash my teeth with my off-hand. 😑 Initially this was incredibly hard, I used my whole body to do this but now it's almost natural. πŸ€” What small things do you do daily to get out of your comfort zone?

😑 Marketing is hard for technical founders. 😠 Programming is hard for non-technical founders. 🀷 Get a co-founder that is good at what you suck at and call it a day.

πŸ•› Sometimes we quit too early. πŸ•€ Sometimes we quit too late. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ I don't necessarily mean a job. 🀷 It could be a personal project, a business, anything. 😿 Choosing when to quit seems like a nightmare for any startup founder.

πŸ¦₯ Success makes me lazy. πŸƒ Failures make me hyped. πŸ˜… But I do enjoy my success and mourn my failures when they happen.

🎒 The life of a creator has its ups and downs. πŸ“‰ The life of a consumer is constant, but slowly declining. 😁 The good news? πŸ’ͺ You can always be a creator!

πŸ™ˆ I quit 9-5 to work 9-9. πŸ˜‚ And I like it.

πŸš€ I am a senior developer. πŸ”Έ I still have to read the documentation. πŸ”Έ I still ask for help. πŸ”Έ I still learn new things every day. 🀷 I don't know everything, but I do know how everything fits and what the end result should be.

πŸš€ The quickest roadmap to start a business: πŸ‘¬ Find your audience. πŸ•΅οΈ Observe. πŸ€• Find pain points. βœ… Think of a solution. πŸ—¨οΈ Validate the solution through feedback. πŸ”‘ Implement the solution. πŸ’Ά Charge money for it.

🀣 I observed that I like sales more than I like coding. πŸ’ͺ Every time I go in a call with a potential customer I feel hyped. 🀷 But the coding part gets boring after a couple of months.

πŸŒ… Are sunrises better than sunsets? 🍏 Is Android better than iOS? 🀷 Is Google better than Microsoft? πŸ˜… It doesn't really matter. πŸ’ͺ I think it's best that we invest our energy into enjoying what we have and our choices, rather than wondering what would have been if...

πŸ€” I never told you what the logo from Nokto Studios represents. πŸŒ„ I created this logo thinking about sunsets and sunrises: πŸ”Έ the end of an era and a way of working, and the dawn of a new one πŸ”Έ the dawn of remote freelancing in the embedded industry πŸ”Έ the dusk of relocating
⏩ If you want to go fast, go alone. ▢️ If you want to go far, go together. πŸ‘― I couldn't get this far without support. πŸ€— One of my main supporters is actually my girlfriend. πŸ’ͺ Remember to celebrate the people around you!

😍 Flexibility gives you the opportunity to work from a place like this. πŸ•œ But remember to also dedicate actual holiday time. πŸ“† This is my first holiday in the last 3 years. πŸ˜… It's weird how much willpower is needed to let business aside for a week.
