This was definitely Baier's worst moment in the interview. Trump did, in fact, talk about Democrats and others on the left as "the enemy within," and Baier just cut all that out of the clip.
Fox host: *plays clip*
Vice President Harris: With all due respect, that clip was not what he has been saying about the ‘enemy within’ that he has repeated when he's speaking about the American people. That's not what you just showed
Fox host: Well…
Vice President Harris: You didn't show that. You and I both know that he has talked about turning the American military on the American people. He has talked about locking people up because they disagree with him. This is a democracy. The President of the United States should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he'd lock people up for doing it

Trump canceled both his 60 Minutes and CNBC interview. He declined to participate in another debate, and he is refusing to release any of his medical records. All of this makes us wonder: what is Kamala Harris hiding from us?

Whether it’s Kamala Harris collecting vinyl or Donald Trump playing songs at a rally to cover up the fact he was having a stroke, both candidates have taken an unusual approach to music.

Q: If I asked you 50 times if Trump lost in 2020, you wouldn’t answer?
Vance: *changes subject*
Q: Why won’t you answer?
Vance: *refuses to answer*
Q: I don’t understand why you won’t just answer?
Vance: *dodges*
Q: Did Trump lose in 2020?
Vance: Call it rigged, use whatever term you want

It's time for everybody to realize he is dead serious. He's full of rage, deeply unstable, and surrounded this time only by creepy, even angrier and unstable sycophants.
This won't be America any longer if he wins.

Trump is back to discussing migrant crime. “We have to live with these animals. But we won’t live with them for long,” Trump says. “Kill them!” shouts a man in the crowd.

Every politician I've ever covered will lie if put into a difficult situation. So will pretty much every human being, for that matter.
But I never envisioned or even imagined a political party so utterly dependent on lies, so devoted to the total repudiation of reality. Stunning.

I'm usually pretty neutral on unions - freedom of association goes both ways and if workers want to unionize, good for them.
But this is awful, rent-seeking bullshit. These guys should be crushed. They're deliberately making society poorer so they can leech off it.

Phil Donahue died today at the age of 88.
I never get tired of watching one of Milton Friedman’s greatest Donahue moments:

This is the reason London telephone boxes (the red ones with the windows) were banned . They were death traps because the elderly fainted inside from the heat, and then were prevented from falling to the ground because of the 4 walls. Every morning there were a few elderly dead people retrieved from around London. The cure for a faint, is to fully faint. @EM_RESUS

I once got yelled at for pronouncing Uruguay "Yuruguay" and responded that I will start saying "oo-roo-guay" the day everyone in Uruguay says "United States" instead of "Estados Unidos."
