I got some work done on my crochet baby blanket after work tonight. And now I'm off to bed and calling it early. 😴

Primitive Old Glory starts with a grungy, speckled brown base. This flag has been there and done that, but it still proudly waves 🇺🇲
In between baking, I finished the last 3 snakes I needed for my project. I experimented with holding yarns together to marl the colors. I will probably make more in the future as they are fun stashbusters. Both @ChickenLadyFA and @FlowersAgainst yarns were used.
Dough has been made! I found a recipe on King Arthur's website for a simple, crusty bread for my first attempt. It needs to sit on the counter for 2 hours then goes into the fridge for at least two hours before baking. I did a half batch so I should get 2 loaves from it.
New fermented home remedy is underway. Cranberries and pineapple in raw honey. Sit for a week then into the fridge. Internet lore says it helps with mucus and coughing and tastes amazing.
Now to enjoy a cup of coffee and look up a recipe for homemade bread.
Dinner time ❤️ it smells amazing! I seasoned the chicken with lime juice, cilantro, thyme, fresh garlic, salt, pepper, and some dried lemon peel. The squash and potatoes have salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
After a long day, the food has gone into the oven! Chicken breast, butternut squash, and little potatoes. I invested in a meat mallet and enjoyed tenderizing the chicken. Now I wait....
Treated myself to fresh pineapple tonight 😁
I got chicken, a squash, and little red potatoes to roast, pineapple and cranberries to ferment in honey, and I will be baking pumpkin bread from scratch after work tomorrow.
I sat myself down and got 4 drawings done tonight so I'm all caught up for the main prompt list for the month. Prompts were pebble, lid, straw, and post-it. I am ridiculously pleased with the straw. 😁
Today marks the beginning of week 3 for my fire cider. The onions have lost all their color and are starting to look ghostly. Half way done!
Life is fleeting. You have to find little moments of light and happiness and enjoy them while you can.
