Solar power is more than electricity, it’s a tool for #IndigenousResistance. @amazonwatch, FECONAU, @lightempowered & EKO Energy are bringing solar energy to Indigenous peoples in the 🇵🇪 Amazon for connection, territorial defense & #climatejustice.

We're thrilled to be part of a groundbreaking initiative in Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷
Together with @lightempowered and @GRID are helping train the next generation of #solarinstallers. Enphase's donated solar and battery equipment is supporting the solar workforce development program, providing hands-on experience to individuals from all walks of life.
Since its launch earlier this year, the program has graduated its first class of students with 47 trainees to date completing the program. Another cohort is about to graduate, which makes for 60 individuals set to complete the program this year. 👏
By equipping people with the skills they need to succeed in the solar industry, these great organizations are creating jobs and building a more #sustainablefuture. From classrooms to rooftops, we're illuminating the path to a brighter tomorrow.

The system we helped install in Maui is now operational, generating ~100 gallons of clean, drinkable water each day for local families. ☀️
Thank you to @lightempowered, @waieawater, @RisingSunSolar1, @FootprintPrjct, and Heal Maui for helping make this possible.
