Dr Paul Wood was inspiring courage today with the @KaingaOraGovtNZ Governance Group. “Adversity is the catalyst for growth”. “Nothing as meaningful as what you’re trying to do will be easy” and “Self care is a discipline not a luxury.” We trust you on this, Paul.

On her 19th bithday Sophie Handford was named 2019 Wellingtonian of the Year. A Head Girl at Kāpiti College & now elected to Kāpiti Council, Sophie kick-started the NZ climate strikes, a huge wake up call for all NZers. She’s not one to watch, Sophie has well and truly arrived.

⁦@alexiahilb⁩ getting us out of our comfort zone. #hort19

A true activist at heart, ⁦@girlbossnz⁩ founder ⁦@alexiahilb⁩ told The Queen of England that there are more CEO named John in NZ listed companies than women. “We’re changing that” is her powerful catch-cry. #hort19

Hugely hopeful and provocative message beamed in to #hort19 by ⁦@girlbossnz⁩ founder ⁦@alexiahilb⁩ “if you want the opportunities not many people get, you need to make the choices not many other people make”
