🟢 EXCL: Understand Green cllrs on Havant Council have submitted a motion of no confidence in the Labour leader after Labour pulled out of the power sharing deal over the ZIR motion. The Havant Greens had said they recognised problematic elements of the motion but denied it was anti semitic and said they could not ask the party leadership to reject it as it was voted for democratically by members.
Havant was ran by a “rainbow coalition” of Labour, Greens & LDs.

In an interview inside the illegal settlement of “Ariel” in the West Bank, an Israeli settler admitted to the reality of apartheid.
When asked by the journalist: “You took their land and built a wall, and when they try to get it back, you call them terrorists?”, the settler replied: “You nailed it... It’s almost like an apartheid state, this is not our land and we shouldn’t have settled here.”

The UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has singled out the BBC as one of the worst offenders in terms of propagating Israeli narratives, and not allowing Palestinian guests to talk about the suffering of their people.
Albanese told us that the BBC and UK government are wrong to claim that we have to wait for the ICJ ruling to determine whether Israel has committed genocide - and that Britain has a duty to prevent genocide.
