Or you could ignore people trying to sell you shit because apparently paying $24.50 of pure extrinsic value that has 444 days to decay to zero while the stock sits near $142 is just a minor detail the OP forgot to mention. At a rough average of 5-6c of theta per day early on (accelerating hard later), that $4,620 LEAP can easily lose half its value if $SPCX only drifts sideways for a year, turning the “67% less capital” pitch into “100% of your money gone for the privilege of waiting.” And I don’t know shit about options.
You could buy 100 shares of $SPCX right now for $14,177. Or you could buy the $120 call LEAP expiring January 2028 for $4,620. Leveraged exposure to the same 100 shares. ~67% less capital. Over 440 days of runway.
Strike: $120
Expiration: January 21, 2028
Premium: ~$46.20 ($4,620 per contract)
Breakeven: $166.20
At expiration:
If $SPCX hits $200, this LEAP returns ~73%
If $SPCX hits $250, this LEAP returns ~181%
If $SPCX hits $300, this LEAP returns ~290%
100 shares at $300 would return ~112%.
Why I like the setup:
- Revenue grew 161% to $14.6B last quarter, and SpaceX swung to $4.4B of net income from a $1.05B loss a year ago
- Starlink reached 13.6M subscribers, up from 7.2M a year ago, with connectivity revenue up 69% to $5.25B
- Revenue from its Super Intelligence (AI) segment grew 830% to $7.56B, and management guided Q1 2027 total revenue to $33B to $37B
- Compute should reach 2.5 to 3 GW by year end, and Musk said he'd be surprised if SpaceX brought on less than 13 GW by the end of 2027
- Starship reached orbit for the first time in September, and SpaceX says it will attempt on-orbit refueling early next year
- The stock is 33% below its June record close and trading near its $135 IPO price
- 444 days of runway carries the trade past the 13 GW compute target at the end of 2027
The max you can lose on a LEAP is the entire premium you paid. In this case, that's $4,620 per contract. LEAPs are leveraged and can lose value quickly if the stock drops or stays flat. Only size this so you're comfortable losing all of it.
Note: LEAPs are one tool inside a broader portfolio. Owning shares is always the primary use of capital. This is a selective add-on for high-conviction moments when conditions align.

Instead of “freezing” hacked funds, why not burn them?
- Hacks are a risk we all accept
- CEXes insure user funds
- burning funds is good for everyone except the hackers 🤷🏻♂️
Replying to @zachxbt
Update: This brings the total frozen for the Binance exploit so far to over $2.83B
Bro. @Apple lay off me, pops. Quit gankin my designs!
I mean, go ahead. My shizz is still better, but wtf?!
This is the coolest shit I’ve seen in a long ting
Full Mario 64 in Mixed Reality! Running in real 3D (no stereoscopic crap) natively at 90FPS and also running on my desk! 😋
Again, Opus 5.5 + PICO CLI combo made it quite straightforward.
Such a bliss to play an oldie at 90 FPS in 3D.
Disclaimer: I own an original physical copy of Mario 64. This project is not associated with Nintendo or PICO.
What the hello is going on, @cursor_ai?
Same plan (Cursor Ultra), same usage (actually significantly less since using Auto the vast majority of the time now), but all of a sudden I’m blasting through 3x the tokens?
Found a $200 Phoenix Link play…Was getting rekt but pulled it out at the end! edgetilt.com/lounge/p/348fc8…
You should probably figure your shit out @amazon - your moat is vaporizing quickly and you’re accelerating it by blocking us…
Weird feeling to root against one of your pics (Rams) because it’ll decimate the competition 😂
