And... it's a girl! 🎉 We’re excited to share that our rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf has been named Ume (pronounced oo-me), a name chosen by her dedicated keeper staff. Ume means plum blossom and apricot in Japanese. 🌸

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.

Last year, I was curious about CAROLINE POLACHEK's album "Desire, I Want To Turn Into You". I never got around to listening to it, but KINDA FUNNY’s Roger gave me this CD as a birthday present the other day. Since then, I've been listening to it on repeat. It's great. I liked it so much that I bought her previous album "Pang.”
