My first attempt at astrophotography. Experimented last night in a relatively dark area and got this nice star field shot, as well as a more zoomed-in picture of the Pleiades star cluster. It’s a humble beginning, but I’d say a pretty good result for just a tripod and DSLR :)

Really interested in getting into astrophotography, maybe some amateur astronomy down the line when I can properly afford a decent beginner telescope. I would love to see the planets in our solar system with my own eyes, it would be a dream.

For now though I will continue to photograph the Moon when I can, and I’m getting a tripod for my camera so I can experiment with taking pictures of the night sky. Really looking forward to dipping my toes into astrophotography and seeing how I get on :)

Playing R.E.P.O. with friends has my sides hurting every time, I love this game. It’s such a good one to play around this time of year, it’s the perfect mix of spooky and goofy
