Brownsboro to Story Ave curve functioning as it was designed to, yet again. I hope the person taken away by ambulance will be OK. @KYTCDistrict5 @LouPubWorks @LouisvilleMayor #louisvilleky
A rare, bipartisan push to counter China and revive America's once-storied, but moribund maritime industry faces a big obstacle: Not nearly enough hands on deck.

Conventional wisdom thinks of car traffic as a liquid, where adding capacity (ie. width) keeps it flowing. But in reality it acts more like a gas, where it expands to fill the amount of space available. And the only proven way to relieve congestion is to evaporate some of it...🧵

Shutters are things that shut. So they must be half the size of the opening, and have hinges & "dogs" to hold them open. If it just screws on the wall and does nothing, it's not a shutter; it's a "screw-on do-nothing." Don't do that.

The last newspapers ever to be printed in the City of Chicago.
Cheers to the Chicago Tribune Pressmen and Presswomen who made this miracle happen every night at the Freedom Center.

You want to reduce the number of family farms being developed into single family subdivisions @jmnemes? Make Louisville more dense with multifamily homes and design streets and neighborhoods to be walkable like our pier cities to create an attractive family alternative.
Last month, I spoke with farmers all over Kentucky about some alarming numbers:
Between 2017-22, #Kentucky lost more than 5,600 family farms, and more than half a million acres of farmland.
