it just shows claudia’s feelings aren’t even valid to the audience. as long as louis is portrayed in a negative light then that scene will always go in one ear and out the other for you guys. i hate boy moms.

i love that claudia had the chance to air out all of her feelings for once in her life without any consequence. the fact that you guys’ only takeaway from that scene is that she’s portraying an angry black woman caricature and that it’s racist is so disheartening.

i couldn’t care less about two black vampires from the jim crow era hurling jim crow-esque insults at each other during an argument. i don’t give a shit that after forcibly being brought back from the dead, claudia cursed louis out. idc that she hates him to the pit of all things

louclaudia is a very complex dynamic that people want simplified to feed into the headcanon of louis being a good parent and claudia not being a character outside of him.

some ppl really think the problems with tvl are race centered when in actuality it’s a plethora of other things. but bc of this, critiquing the show cannot be done in good faith on here half the time.

the fact it took the fried chicken comment for ppl to clock that daniel is racist is still insane to me. like were you watching the first two seasons with headphones on??
